Thoughts on moon placements
!! everything is based purely on my experiences with signs, written with no other purpose than to share my observations and be unserious.
Aries moon. Will ask you a question and leave midway through u answering it just cuz little men in their head pushed a new button on the emotions console, inside out style. If they feel some type of way be sure everyone in the room will also feel it. Great at destroying social harmony.
Taurus moon. Brick wall banging against which you risk irrevocably damaging ur head. Usually deal with stress or any negative emotions by falling asleep. Insanely bad at moving on from anything.
Gemini moon. Find an outlet for your thoughts and ideas and it better not be that one poor friend that is too nice to stop your rambling. Anxiety ride from the moment they wake up till the moment they fall asleep if they actually manage to. Never have a firm stance on anything.
Cancer moon. If they feel sad they can suck the life out of the air. Feel a lot and usually stop at that. Somehow kinda bad at reflecting. Some of them could really benefit from rationalizing their emotions. Like to reminisce a lot.
Leo moon. Every day is a Miss Universe contest. Don't understand the concept of putting yourself in someone else’s shoes. Live life like they’re being filmed for a biopic about them. Get offended easily. Having too many ego deaths on a daily basis bless them.
Virgo moon. Invented anxiety and hating things. Genuinely think they are smarter than everybody but like to ignore the fact that they’ve been stuck in the loop of the same problems for a couple of years. VEry unstable self-esteem.
Libra moon. Appear very carefree to the point of care actually not existing in their world I think. Like cute things and cute feelings. Dislike ugly things and ugly feelings. Shine best when surrounded by people and are needed by someone.
Scorpio moon. If mood swings were a moon placement it’d be this one. Cutting ur hair at 3 am moon. Everything is profound and deeply personal. Identity crisis during a bus ride home. Being nonchalant is a hoax.
Sagittarius moon. 3 minute emotional life cycle. Consider feeling down a random virus they caught somewhere and not a genuine state of being. Cure themself to the natural optimistic disposition by blowing up to someone’s face and proceeding to go with their day unbothered.
Capricorn moon. Incapable of giving approval or being positive about anything. See three steps forward except only for the situations going wrong. Hence dissociate when they’re supposed to feel happy. The soul leaves their body when entrapped by loud people.
Aquarius moon. Have ideas about feelings. When exposed to simple emotional stimuli fall into a theoretical spiral. Like to look for the signs and parallels. Without a social circle are like fish without water.
Pisces moon. Kid lost in the mall vibe. Dreamed a more exciting life and are living it. Need alone time to survive but also kinda hate it?? Always care, would lose at the speed of light in the idgaf war. Do art please.

seventeen members as love tropes: lee chan
age gap (younger/older)
'open your eyes and see, i'm all you'll ever need'
'age is just a number.'
you sigh, turning to look at chan. 'how many times you're going to repeat that?'
'as many times as it'll take to stick in your head,' he responses easily, ignoring your flat tone and bad mood. 'age is just a number, it means nothing. so what that i am younger? does that make me less of a man?'
'lee chan, i just failed my economy midterm, how about we'll discuss the nuances of what it takes to be a man a bit later?' you deadpan, trying to keep a strict face when boy in front of you blushes.
channie blushes so prettily, you can't help but notice. he, in general, is a very pretty boy, something that you unfortunately also can't help but notice. his profile is worth painting a picture for, his smile makes you feel warm even in the coldest days and his energy levels never fail to surprise you. he also is, well, younger. much younger.
'it's just one midterm,' he soothes and moves closer, taking something out of his bag. 'it won't heavily affect your overall score, no? here, i bought your favorite croissants with pistachio from that bakery down the street.'
you frown. 'down the street? that's a really expens- channie, those croissants are really expensive.'
boy next to you has the audacity to simply shrug his shoulders like it's not a big deal. 'so what? you like them, right?' at your nod, he smiles. 'then it's okay that they are expensive.'
and it's- terribly sweet. extremely thoughtful. very kind. chan treats you like no one did before and you two are not even dating. he's finishing his first year in uni, works half-time in the library and has several basketball trainings a week but somehow always finds time for you. he is there when you're on your close-up duty in the coffee shop you work, always with umbrella cause he knows you don't have one and waits patiently for you to check all locks and then walks you back to the dormitory under the 'it's so dark outside, it's unsafe' excuse. he remembers your favorite everything from snacks to tv shows and always sends you funny memes about them to cheer you up during midterms/exams week or leaves something at your dorm for you to pick up. he listens to your endless rambles about what awaits you after uni as you're on your last year and lets you cry it out on his shoulder, never minding wet patches you leave on his shirts. chan could've been your boyfriend, really. but he's so young and you feel like you're robbing him out of experiencing this university at full even when your age difference is not that big. but why would a first year boy date forth year girl?
'you're supposed to eat them, you know,' he gently nudges your shoulder, pulling you out of sad thoughts. 'have they already gone cold? we have microvewave on our floor, if you wait here i can quickly run-'
'no need,' you interrupt, barely breathing due to how tight your chest is. exactly how much this boy is ready to do for you? 'i'll eat it like that. thank you very much, channie.'
he beams at you and he really has no business in being this cute, it does something weird to your heart. you both sit in comfortable silence as you think about all the instances when chan barelled you with his 'age is just a number'. he got hooked on you pretty much the moment you two met and for the last six months you've been hearing the same 'age is just a number' five times a week.
'are you really very sad because of the midterm?' he asks in a quiet voice. 'or is there something else?'
of course there is something else. uncertainty about the future, anxiety over the rest of the midterms, fear of failing - 'yeah, just that midterm,' you mutter, trying to fake a smile.
'why are you lying?' his tone is too harsh for you not to flinch. 'why are you lying to me right now? is it because i'm younger?'
'wha- chan, what?' you ask, baffled.
chan takes a deep breath and stares back at you with utmost seriousness. 'you think just because i'm younger i won't be able to take it? won't be able to be there for you and support you in your struggles? why are you lying to me? why you are not telling the whole truth about what's bothering you? you think i can't help just because i'm not your age or older? is this it?'
he actually is upset, you realize in shock. chan looks like he's two seconds away from pulling his hair out or crying, whichever is more fitting. his eyes are pleading you to come clean to him, to let him be there for you and your throat constricts with unsaid words. no one has ever shown this consistent interest in you, no one ever made it clear about their intentions and this right now, coming from a boy who's much younger, who only now dips his toes in the mature world makes you want to cry. it must show on your face, because chan's face crumples and he quickly sits closer to you, mumbling 'please, please don't cry, i'm sorry!' and rubbing your back.
'i'm fine, i'm fine,' you say, wiping away few tears. 'sorry, i'm weirdly overemotional these days.'
'nothing to be sorry for,' he instantly says, frowning. 'are you okay? did i upset you?'
you shake your head, smiling a little. 'no. you just made me realize what douchebags i dated before you.'
'oh.' chan's eyebrows quirk in a cute way. 'uh- you're welcome?'
cracking up, you lean further into him and chan welcomes it readily, wrapping his arms around you. he's warm and solid and it feels good and safe to stay like that with him. age is just a number. 'channie,' you start and he hums a little, letting you know that he's listening. 'i don't want to burden you with my soon-to-graduate kind of problems, when you've just started your uni life here. you've got so much going on and i-'
'i'm very strong,' chan interrupts with voice full of determination. 'i can have my own problems and take care of yours at the same time, i promise.'
it's sweet. so terribly, horribly sweet, you think you're going to kiss him right now. and you do, smiling when he instantly hugs you tighter and kisses you back. god, it feels good to be wanted. when you lean back, channie is staring at you in awe, stars shine in his eyes so brightly that you can't help but kiss him again. 'okay, strong boy,' you mutter, cuddling up to him. 'you got me in the end. age is just a number.'

cw: sick family member
bodyguard!James x fem!reader ♡ 1.3k words
No matter how many times James has visited home throughout his adult life, he always manages to discover something he’s forgotten about living there. Like how particular his mum is about the way the dish towel is folded, or which drawer the scissors are kept in, or the ungodly amount of door-to-door salesmen that come by on a daily basis.
Lately, he’s being plagued by the last. He recalls them being vaguely annoying when he was younger, but James’ family is currently going through a difficult time that leaves one with somewhat frayed nerves. He very nearly snapped at a particularly tenacious primary school student selling chocolate yesterday. Not one of his finer moments.
So when the doorbell rings while his mum is trying to sleep down the hall, James has to make an effort to reel his wrath back in before he’s even answered it.
Funnily enough, any negative emotion completely evaporates when he sees you on the front steps.
“Hi,” you say, looking apprehensive.
“Hi,” James echoes. He opens the door the rest of the way, nodding to the fill-in guard you’ve brought with you. “Hey, Singh.”
Singh nods in return.
“I hope it’s alright that I just came by.” You give him a sheepish sort of smile. “I didn’t even realize I don’t have your phone number until now. You’re always just…there.”
James laughs, the mood that’s descended over him since getting the call about his mum lifting slightly. “Yeah, I suppose I am. What brings you out, sweetheart?”
You hoist the bags you’re carrying a bit higher in your arms. “I brought some stuff for you and your mom, if that’s okay.”
A tiny hand fists around his heart, squeezing pleasantly. “Course it is,” he all but coos. “Come on in. Singh, you alright to stay here and keep watch?”
Luckily, the other man doesn’t think to remember that James is currently on leave, and so defers to him with a curt nod. James shoots him a smile as you come inside, closing the door behind you.
“They put Singh on day shift?” he asks, taking one of the bags from you and leading you into the kitchen. “He’s barely finished training.”
“He seems fine,” you say in your good-natured way.
“He took you to a location that’s never been reconned without even bringing another guard to post outside.”
“It’s your mom’s house, Jamie.” The smile is evident in your voice, sweeter even than the smell wafting out of these bags. God, he’s missed you. “I doubt he suspects either of you are going to try and hurt me.”
“He should be prepared for the possibility,” James says, but he can’t manage to work any menace into his tone even to tease you. You tilt your head at him, mouth curving up to one side like you’re well acquainted with his particular brand of silliness, and he lets his grievances go instantly. “You didn’t have to bring us anything, angel face.”
You flush a bit at the endearment, directing a soft smile down at his family’s old wooden table (which is great, because now James is in the position of being jealous of a table). “I wanted to do something,” you reply simply. “How’s your mom?”
“She’s alright.” Not great. Not worse, which is always good. If the only thing he accomplishes in a day is that she doesn’t get worse, James can feel good about that. “She’s sleeping in this morning.”
“Oh, shit.” Your voice drops to a hush like the breeze blowing through leaves. “I haven’t woken her, have I?”
James grins. “No, you’re good. She can sleep through anything.”
You lose a breath. “Right, well I brought some meals to last you a few days,” you say, digging some containers out of the bag. “It can all be heated up whenever you’re ready to eat, and—oh, also some flowers. I know it’s stupid, but I thought they might brighten things up for you two.” James doesn’t think it’s stupid at all, but you go on before he can tell you so. “Can I put these in your freezer? I brought some muffins for this morning too, if you want them.”
“Yeah,” James says, the word leaving him on a breath. “I mean, yeah to both. Thank you.” He grabs several of the containers as well, showing you to the freezer. You both start cramming them in between things, wherever they’ll fit. He takes note of the food as it goes in, a heady warmth growing in his chest. “Did you make all of this?”
You hum in brisk affirmation. “I had plenty of time on my hands yesterday. Turns out things are pretty boring without you around.”
“How’d you know what to make? This is all—these are our favorites.”
You turn to him, a tenderhearted sort of smile curving your lips. “You talk about your mom a lot, Jamie,” you say. “I know all her favorites by now. And the things she’d make that were your favorites, too.”
James hadn’t realized he’d spent so much time rambling about his mum. It hurts his chest a bit to think of it now, worse to think that you’d been listening so intently.
“This is only really enough to get you through a few days,” you go on, oblivious to his yearning, “but I figured I’d come back with more if you’re both alright with it.” You look at him as you pack the last of the food away, your gaze careful. “I don’t want to intrude or anything.”
“You could never intrude.” James isn’t sure how he gets the words out, his heart ballooning until it’s nearly cutting off his airflow. The cool air breezing onto one side of his face stops, and he realizes you’ve shut the freezer. “This is just…so, so kind of you. I don’t know what to say.”
“James.” Your voice is soft. Your smile has faded, and now you look at him with an unabashed, steady kindness. “You don’t have to say anything. I can’t stand the thought of you and your mom going through this. I wanted to help, somehow.” One of your shoulders comes up in a sheepish half-shrug. “Even if it’s really small.”
He wraps his arms around your shoulders, and you hesitate only a second before bringing your arms around him too. You squeeze him tight. James lets himself relish the feel of it, lovelorn. “It’s not small,” he says fervently. “It really…it means a lot, sweetheart.”
You only squeeze tighter in response. When he lets you go, your gaze is sad. Worried. You ask without prelude, “Are you doing okay?”
James gives you a half-smile. The truth of it. “Yeah, we’re alright over here. It’s hard to see her like this, but I think everything’s going to be okay.” You nod, solemn in your understanding. “Sounds like I might be doing better than you, actually, if your company’s bad enough that you’re entertaining yourself in the kitchen all day.”
You crack a smile at that, and James’ heart lightens. “Yeah, Singh’s no you. He doesn’t seem to like to chat.”
“Ahh, so that’s why you’ve really come out here, yeah? You just missed me.”
“You’ve caught me.”
It’s said like a joke, but James’ pride inflates foolishly nonetheless. “I hate that I can’t be there,” he says. “Especially now that I know they’ve put Singh on my shift.”
“He’s not so bad,” you laugh, heading towards the table. You fold up the bags. “Anyway, it’s more important that you’re here. And I’ll be back in a couple days to restock you.”
James fixes you with a look as you start for the door. “You really don’t have to.”
“I’m going to,” you say breezily. “Don’t forget to put the flowers in water, and the muffins are strawberry chocolate chip.” He grins. His mum’s favorite. “I’ll tell Singh you were raving about him.”
“Oh, please do.” He rolls his eyes, feeling lighter than he has in days. “Thanks, angel.”
You shoot him a smile worthy of the moniker as you go out the door. “See you in a couple days, Jamie.”

“I will love you unconditionally…”
“Come just as you are to me, don't need apologies. Know that you are worthy!” (“Unconditionally” by Katy Perry)
Feathers. Feathers everywhere. The teenagers were panting heavily from their previous childish pillow-fight, staring at each other with red, sweaty faces. But something about the whole mood seemed to change…shifting into something else…something unfamiliar. The sudden tension between Severus and Julia became palpable, wavering in thick air. His voice cut the awkward silence between them. “What is this all about, Jules?” Brushing the cheeky strand of hair - which seemed to have a life on its own…always falling over his left eye - out of his face, Severus glanced at her, narrowing his eyes. He didn’t know, what to think about her latest antics. Would she be the next person, who would abandon him? He knew it…he shouldn’t have gotten too attached to her….he shouldn’t have allowed her to break through his walls. “You’re pathetic, Severus!”, he scolded himself internally, coursing his heart for this feeling of hope, that he had given permission to grow in his chest. “You should have known better than that.”
“Sevy, I…”, her voice broke mid sentence, when she recognised the familiar expressions of annoyance and disappointment in his face. No…this was not supposed to happen! This was the moment, when Julia knew, that she couldn’t hold herself back anymore. She couldn’t lose him! Her friend! Her companion through thick and thin! Taking a deep breath, Julia took his hand in hers and revealed her deepest feelings for him. It was now or never!
“Sevy, from the very first moment, when I've seen you in the Great Hall...this way too skinny, raven haired boy with his adorably crooked nose and those beautiful - and yet so sad - obsidian eyes...l've been fallen head over heels for you!”, she blurted out…feeling her heart beating up to her throat. There was no way back for her now, that was for sure.
“Jules…what…”, but before Severus could react to her blunt confession, Julia stopped him from talking, shaking her head vigorously. “Listen to me, Sevy! Let me explain this to you. It’s…it’s your soul!”, she stuttered nervously, stumbling over her own words.
“Your soul has always seemed to be surrounded by some kind of magnetic field, Sevy. And my poor soul is constantly lingering on it…desperately trying to get attached to yours.” Julia’s cheeks went scarlet, but it was too late…she couldn’t stop herself from confessing her feelings to her best friend anymore.
“I’m like a goddamn moth…”, she uttered nervously, “and you…you’re the light! I…I can’t help myself…you…you’re all, I can think about!”
„I am…the light?“ Severus was speechless. Never would he have considered himself as a light…and especially not as a light to someone! But he couldn’t say anything further to his best friend‘s confession…not since Julia just didn’t stop talking!
„I don't expect anything from you, Severus. My love for you is…unconditionally…and…undeniably.“, she continued with her flow of words. This wasnt new to Severus, he knew Julia’s habit of losing herself in an endless stream of rhapsody over the most random things. But he had never expected to become the subject of her rambling speech…and she still didn’t come to an end!
„I will find you inside your own darkness, Severus...no matter, where you are…no matter, where you’re hiding yourself from the world! I want to be the light, that leads you home. I will break through the cage, you've built around yourself. And I won't ever let you go!“, declared Julia boldly before she interrupted herself, holding her breath. Suddenly, there was only one thought left in her mind: “Oh no…what have I done?!”
This was a little snippet from one of my more innocent stories, which I’m writing in my sleepless nights in order to cope with my own situation…and gosh, I’m so fucking nervous to share this with you all for the very first time.
Even though I’m someone, who always seemed to be quite self-confident towards others, I’m only a very insecure and overly sensitive person on the inside. My whole life, there was always one thought in the back of my head: What if I’m not good enough? What if I’m nothing but a failure?
And since I’m struggling with this cruel disease ME/CFS, which completely cuts me off from the life, I’ve used to known…my insecurities and vulnerabilities are growing even deeper. So, this is a sign of trust, you wonderful people of Snapedom! I’m trusting you with a tiny piece of my heart…a tiny piece of my true self.
My friend, the wonderfully talented artist @snake-queen7, drew this beautiful artwork of Sevy and Jules in the middle of their pillow-fight….and you did a fantastic job, my dear! Thank you for letting my fantasies come to life…for allowing me to feel alive again through your excellent art!

⫘⫘⫘⫘⫘⫘⫘⫘⫘⫘⫘⫘⫘⫘
Aemond had escorted Lady Maris back to her apartments after their time in the library. He was a bit surprised how easily he fell into a long conversation with her, and how it was not even forced. Maris was far more intelligent than he would have assumed; she had an interest in herbology and the medicinal purposes of plants. In another life, she could have been a maester. She even had her own journal she pressed flowers and plants in and wrote down information that she had learned from them.
She was different to Valeana, pleasantly so. She was intelligent in similar ways to him, and that made the prospect of courting her seem less like a chore. The idea of actually marrying her, however, was difficult to swallow, despite the distinct possibility that it might be a reality should he carry along with this charade. Though, Aemond supposed it wouldn’t be terrible. Their conversations were academic in nature, which he enjoyed. With Valeana it was almost never serious; she was quick to make jokes, or gush over superficial things like how a woman’s dress was made, or about a particular shade of green on a leaf she spotted. It was hardly stimulating, so Maris was a breath of fresh air when it came to his experiences with the fairer sex. It also helped that she wasn’t terrible to look at either.
Aemond did notice that she tended to ramble quite a bit, going on tangents about random facts that he either already knew about or didn’t interest him. There was one moment where she corrected him on the pronunciation of a common bush flower known to be toxic in large amounts, which annoyed him more than he cared to admit (he was positive that he was saying it correctly, having heard it a hundred times). He brushed it off, though, for the sake of the conversation and the obvious blush over her cheeks and ears that betrayed both her nervousness and attraction.
“Good night, my lady,” he had bowed and kissed her hand, a gentlemanly smile upon his lip. That blush came back as she bowed her head and gave him a stuttered good night before reluctantly closing the door to the tower.
Aemond’s good mood was reflected in his gait as he trailed from the north tower, back to the Throne Room to reach the Holdfast. As he passed the shadow of his ancestral throne, Aegon intercepted him on his way out.
“Brother! You’re looking very cheerful,” The elder slowed down his pace to turn to Aemond. “Coming back from Madam Sylvi’s? That is where I am headed right now.”
“My mood has significantly depreciated these last few seconds,” The younger pursed his lips and partially turned to Aegon’s direction. “Is there something you need of me, or can I go on my way?”
“I see the Madam is losing her touch, if you are already agitated so soon after her craft.”
“I was not–” He interrupted himself. Aemond’s eye shut upon realizing he was quickly losing his composure. However, simultaneously, the chorus of giggles, followed by gasps of women caught his and Aegon’s immediate attention.
The following sight had rendered Aemond completely motionless, as the only thing he was capable of doing was trying to process what was happening.
With a loud shout of: “Egg-On-Toast!” the two princes had come to the immediate understanding that they were in the presence of drunk wellbred women. A rare sighting to be sure, though such public displays from young ladies at such high standings could potentially ruin their reputation for the rest of their lives. And yet, he did not care; it was not his burden to bear. Except, among the three was a certain Valyrian blooded woman, and then he cared immensely.
The one-eyed prince found himself fixated on Valeana as she stumbled on her feet and words
Aemond was biting the inside of his cheek, trying to keep his expression as stoic as possible. The last thing he wanted was to expose his fascination and amusement over the entire situation… Particularly when Valeana jumped out of her skin like a startled cat when she noticed him. It reminded him of all those times he would scare her after jumping out from around the corner or through a secret passageway. The way her body would go rigid, eyes wide and mouth open and pulled downwards as she gave a strangled yelp, then cursing him to the hells afterwards.
It was adorable.
And gods dammit, it still was.
But then she had to go around and be a pain in his arse again, reminding him why he was actively avoiding her. Why her presence was much like that bush flower he had been talking with Maris about earlier: Toxic in high doses.
“Prince Almond.”
His eye narrowed at her challengingly, alight with his suppressed need to smile at her tenacity. Alcohol looked good on her. She looked so flushed and darling.
Aemond growled internally at himself.
“Please do not pay her any mind, my Prince,” Ser Erryk approached her and gently grabbed her arm.
Valeana didn’t put up much of a fight when he tugged her back into his orbit, but she kept her bleary gaze on Aemond as if he would disappear, and reappear somewhere else if she looked away. In fact, she confirmed that is exactly what she was thinking when she pointed at her eyes with two fingers and then at Aemond, mouthing “I’m watching you.”
“I’ll bring her straight back to Maegor’s Holdfast as soon as I see to Lady Wylla and Lady Ellyn,” The white cloak continued.
“Oh, that won’t be necessary,” Aegon stepped up and took Valeana’s other arm. “Your hands are full enough as it is, Ser– Erryk?” The knight nodded to confirm that he got it correctly. Aegon smiled, then placed his free hand on the woman’s other shoulder. “I’ll escort Lady Valeana safely to her apartments.”
“No,” Aemond immediately blurted without thought. “I’ll escort her back. ”
His declaration took everyone by surprise, especially Valeana, who openly stared at him as if he said the most offending thing to ever disgraced her ears.
Aegon tilted his head, a curious smile upon his face. Devious and challenging. “Ser Erryk, do not listen to my brother. Lady Valeana will be much safer in my company”
The two princes were glaring at each other, placing Valeana right in the middle, causing her head to dart between the two. Meanwhile, the two other girls whispered and giggled to each other, something about being fought over by princes and a… spitroast?
The kingsguard also looked between the two brothers, then opened his mouth to insist that he will escort her back to the Holdfast, but Aemond was the first to break the tense silence.
“Ser Erryk, I trust your wise and honourable judgment. Prince Aegon is…” He tilted his head down challengingly at his brother. “Unsuited to escort a vulnerable, inebriated, young maiden alone at night. It is wiser that Lady Valeana comes with me.” His voice darkened as he continued, common tongue dropped in preference to a more eloquent one. “Jikagon raqagon aōha līvi, lēkia. Issa daor aōhon bisa bantis.” (Go enjoy your whores, brother. She is not yours this evening.)
“Whadju just call me…” Valeana’s muttered question went ignored, as both brothers were poised to attack each other.
The comment achieved the effect that Aemond desired. That smug face Aegon wore fell as every word was spoken. From the implication spoken in common tongue, to the language of their ancestors that he knew Aegon could not understand. Aegon openly glowered at him, nostrils flared and jaw clenched tightly in a scowl.
And just like that, Aemond’s mood was elevated once more. He even dared to smile down at Aegon before turning to speak to the knight.
“It is best you hurry along, Ser Erryk. It will take sometime to get Lady Wylla back to her brother, and I am sure that Lord Borros is wrought with worry for his daughter,” Without straying his eyes off of his elder brother, he reached out and plucked Valeana from him by a tug of her wrist. In her drunken, confused state, she stumbled into his chest, her head connecting to his sternum, tucked under his chin. Aemond was immediately overwhelmed with the smells of citrus, wine, strong ale, and the familiar pheromonal scent of her sweat.
Aegon’s eyes flickered down at Valeana, who was blinking in confusion, using her palms to anchor herself against Aemond’s chest.
“Oh my gods,” Ellyn whispered to her Northern counterpart.
“I know! This is the stuff bards sing about,” Wylla whispered back, eyes captivated by the show before her.
“The room’s spinning right now, can we all just fuckin’ leave?” Valeana slurred tiredly, one hand massaging her temple.
“Very well,” Aegon nodded and smiled stiffly, then looked back up to Aemond. His eyes went dark, “Don’t let her fall, Aemond.”
Aemond’s smirk faltered, especially because Valeana heard him and made a pathetic little whine. She went to reach for Aegon, and that made Aemond’s blood pressure spike, forcing his own hand to grab it before she could touch the other prince. And for a brief moment, he could’ve sworn he saw Aegon’s arm move, as if he were going to reach out for her in turn.
“You best get going, Cargyll,” Aemond said curtly, and then bowed his head towards the other two women. “Lady Wylla, Lady Ellyn.”
Tugging her with him, Aemond turned to leave the Throne Room, but not without his charge dragging her feet as she tried to reach out for her drunken companions.
“Do not worry! I can take’em– Just gotta stay on his left side. Won’t know what’s comin’. Fare thee wel–” With a sharp yank, Aemond pulled her out of sight.
Valeana dragged her feet as Aemond tugged her down the hall by her wrist. She whined, tugged back, slipped and then cried out. When the latter happened, he immediately stopped walking and turned to her sharply, but she appeared to be fine. Flushed from brow to breast, sweaty and frazzled, but otherwise…
“You’re walking too fast, Almond,” She threw her head back in exasperation. “With yer stupid long spidery legs.”
“You’re making a spectacle of yourself,” He sharply shot back. “You threaten not just your reputation, but your family’s as well. I need to get you back to your rooms as swiftly as possible, so make haste– Valeana!”
She dropped down to her knees, her arm limply suspended from where he gripped her wrist.
“I did not ask for your help, Almond,” She twisted her arm feebly, trying to free herself from him. “Aegon could have–”
“Aegon,” he practically growled the name. “Aegon would have pulled you into a dark corner and taken advantage of you.”
“You do not know that.”
“You do not know my brother like I do,” he narrowed his eye down at her stubborn form on the floor. “Though mayhaps that is what you desire. To be felt up like a common tart.”
Her brow knitted at that, then she blinked rapidly in confusion, “Whu-what? Didju just call me a tart, Aemond Targaryen? Did you not just call me a fucking tart?”
He huffed through his nose, “Get up Valeana, before more people see you.”
“Oh, no, no, no,” she stood up straighter on her knees to make her point. “You just dug your grave, Targaryen. You think I was difficult before? I’mma make this night the worst godsdamn night of your miserable life, you one-eyed wyrm.”
⫘⫘⫘⫘⫘⫘⫘⫘⫘⫘⫘⫘⫘⫘
Valeana made well on her threat. She did, in fact, make that night the worst night of his life. Aemond wasn’t even entirely certain how much time passed, but what he did know was that they weren’t even halfway to Maegor’s Holdfast. He had started by dragging her across the floor by her wrists, while she explained her marital plans with her co-conspirators, Wylla and Ellyn.
“Wylla and Ellyn will marry my brothers, and then I will marry Lord Cregan, you understand. That way, we will all be good-sisters… And in a way, we will be wives to each other. It’s a brilliant plan, really.”
Aemond was doing a good job at not interacting with her drunk babbling, but he couldn’t stop himself when he asked, “Does Stark know about this arrangement?” His tone laced with bitter exhaustion.
“I am sure Wylla is presenting the same proposal as we speak.” Her eyes fluttered closed, then she scrunched up her face “Are we there yet? I lost feeling in my arms.”
Aemond immediately dropped her arms and she flopped on the ground like a starfish.
“We would have arrived sooner if you got off the floor.”
“But the floor is nice and cool, and this bloody castle is so hot, Aemond,” she whined.
He ran his hands over his face from his temples, down to his eye in frustration. They were getting nowhere, and the hour of the wolf was upon them. At this rate, by the time they reached her family’s wing, it would be dawn and the servants would be milling through the corridors to fulfill their morning routines.
Impatient and resolute in not allowing her to get the best of him, Aemond bent over, hauled her up from the floor, and then slung her over his shoulder. She gave an unladylike groan at the contact of her stomach being pressed against his narrow shoulder bone. She weighed like a sack of lead, but Aemond secured her legs and strode forward.
He couldn’t move as swiftly as he would have liked, but they were making more ground this way. It was easier to dodge oncoming guards, as well, but the caveat was her kicking and slapping his back and rear like a war drum.
“You have a very pert arse, Almond,” she had said after giving it another slap with a weak hand. He hardly could feel it through his leather breeches, but it was enough for heat to reach the tip of his ears. Out of irritation, of course, not for any other reason.
Then Valeana began to groan and moan, and when she stopped kicking about, he felt a tentative tap on his back.
“P-put me down, Ae-aemond.”
“As much as I desire to, I am not wasting any—”
“‘M gonna to be sick,” her meek confession was enough for him to immediately stop walking and bend slightly to place her on her feet. She wasted no time to clammer against the wall until she found a narrow window that looked over the side of the cliffs. He shut his eye when he heard her heave, followed by the tell-tale sound of watery contents exiting her gullet, and splashing down the side of the Red Keep.
Aemond leaned against the stone wall and patiently waited for her, eye remaining closed and trying to disassociate to any place that wasn’t his reality. Perhaps he should have let Aegon escort her back… Whatever would have happened between the two wouldn’t be much different to what he came upon the other night, and more importantly, it was not his business. Valeana was not a friend to him and vice versa. Not to mention, the present moment just killed any remnants of attraction he shamefully and subconsciously harboured.
Finally, Valeana pulled away from the window, using her sleeves to wipe at her mouth and chin. She had a pained expression on her pink face when she settled her side against the wall.
“That is the price you pay for overindulging in drink,” his berate was softer than he’d intended.
She sent him a withering look, “Why did you insist on escorting me back, Aemond?”
There was some surprising clarity in her words, almost like she had purged the source of her befuddlement just enough to think and speak coherently. The problem was he didn’t have a good answer, at least one that would satiate her and not make him look like a fool.
“Aegon cannot be trusted with—”
She groaned and rolled her eyes, “Aegon…Aegon… It’s not about him. Many guards have crossed our paths since you dragged me off. You have avoided them, when you could have just pawned me off to them, effectively unburdening yourself.”
“I do not trust–” He thinned his lips, and turned away before correcting himself, placing the view of her face at his blind spot. “Outside the kingsguard, the guards patrolling the keep are just as weak-willed as any man.”
“Oh really?
He did not see her take tentative steps towards him, not until she was right under his nose, craning her neck to look up at him.
“Are you weak-willed, my Prince?” She raised an eyebrow at him.
He scoffed, nearly laughing at the question.
“I’ve already established I do not trust my mortality whilst in your presence… but could I trust my virtue in your—” she looked him up and down and tilted her head, “strong, yet nimble hands?”
Aemond pulled himself from the wall and grasped her bicep, “Let’s move before anyone sees how foolish you are.”
“Stop manhandling me! I’m the bloody Queen of the North! My husband, Cregan Stark, will not stand for this.”
At least he wasn’t dragging her along the floor, or carrying her over his admittedly sore shoulder. They continued to walk until the corridor opened up to large arches, showing the small courtyard below them. With his destination now in sight, he gently pushed her forward, ignoring her soft whines and complaints of the humidity.
And then they reached a familiar corner, to a familiar flight of spiral stairs. That is when her feet froze.
“No,” She spun around and tried to push through him. “I knew it– I knew I could not trust you–”
“Valeana–” he gripped her arms, oblivious to the reasons for her sudden distress. “Stop being difficult, we are almost there.”
“This your plan, huh? Finish off what you started?”
A flash of confusion etched his features until he finally got a good look at exactly where they were. The prince’s shoulders tensed at the realization, and in that brief moment she managed to rush past him on wobbly legs. Aemond was quick to grab onto her wrist.
“Let me go! Let go of me!” She yanked her arm, causing her sleeve to stretch and pull over her pale shoulder.
“Valeana,” he pleaded, pulling her body against his, her back to his chest and her head tucked under his chin. Still holding onto her wrist, he folded their arms around her waist to keep her to him. “I am not trying to hurt you. I just want to see you safely back to your rooms.”
He couldn’t see it, but there were fat tears stuck to her eyelashes and rolling over her rosy cheeks. He couldn’t see it, but her left leg was shaking. He couldn’t see it, but she was baring and gritting her teeth as if she was preparing for the worst. But he could hear her sniffles, and feel her trembling fingers, and out of instinct he pulled her closer to him.
“I’m not going to push you, Valeana.”
“You already did,” she replied immediately with a shaky breath. “Twice.”
“That was…” He sighed through his lips, “That was a mistake.”
She slowly stopped fighting against him, and slumped in his hold like a sack of potatoes. He could feel her breathing harshly through her parted lips.
“I’m not so sure, anymore,” her words were spoken so lowly, he almost didn’t hear her. “Let me go, Aemond. I’ll– I’ll find my own way.”
The prince was unwilling to do as she asked; he was frozen in his own body with no control of his limbs as they clung to Valeana Celtigar, afraid of letting her go. Afraid of seeing her leave him again. This was the first time in ten years that his arms have embraced her. She felt so perfect against his frame, it would be a sin if they parted, surely.
She made a move to step away, to pry his arm from around her and leave, but the approaching footsteps and chatter of servants brought back reality. The hour of the nightingale was arriving, the dawn nearly here, and the Keep was starting to wake.
With the sudden realization of how this looked (she disheveled, crying, with her dress tugged over her shoulder, and him holding her in a vice against his body), Aemond sprung back to sense and pulled her away from a potential scandal to both their houses.
“We’ll go through the tunnels,” he went past the offending stairs and marched over to an alcove where a statue of the Maiden stood, surrounded by patterned tapestries. He pushed them aside to reveal a slender door, and then reached for a wall sconce, plucking the torch from its cradle.
“Stay close,” he briefly released her to pull open the door. Billows of dust and a distinctive crack of wood told her it had been some time since this hidden passageway was used. Aemond arched his arm as he held open the door and gestured with a nod of his head for her to enter.
Valeana hesitated of course, especially since all she could see was darkness before her. Though behind her was a maze of corridors and parapets that she would have to navigate on wobbly and sore legs. To avoid those spiral stairs, the way to the Holdfast was long and tedious.
With a sigh of defeat, she bowed her head and slipped into the space, hands bracing the wall of the narrow fit. Aemond followed, shutting the door securely, and held the torch above their heads to shed light for their path. The narrow hallway went on for quite a while, forcing them to shimmy their way through.
Valeana huffed and wiped her slick forehead with the back of her hand, “It’s hotter in here than outside.”
“You wouldn’t be so hot if you didn’t wear so many layers,” Aemond replied, eyes trained over her head, down the never ending passageway. It was a curious choice, given his knowledge of her aversion to heat. The dresses were lovely, and complimented her… assets well, but they were impractical in the south. Even highborn ladies at the Keep wore dresses with lighter fabric, forgoing petticoats and even chemises sometimes. Valeana’s dresses thus far had been wide and layered.
“You’re right,” she surprised him with her answer, forcing him to glance down in time to see her exhale tiredly through pouted lips. The yellow glow of the firelight caused the sweat on the tops of her breasts to sparkle, making them look like giant pearls.
Aemond swallowed thickly, then quickly diverted his attention to the endless abyss. He was taken back to the times when he was a lad on the cusp of manhood. Finding hair in places where there weren’t before, and waking up with a stiff member or wet bed sheets. Valeana was of the same age, going through similar but different growing pains, and they were difficult to ignore. Perhaps it was because of her weight, but Valeana’s breasts were always large – not nearly the size they were now, but bigger than most girls her age at the time. They’d pillow over the constraints of her dresses, and when she breathed heavily, the fabric would dig into the soft flesh… like it was doing now.
The first time he stroked himself was to the memory of Valeana Celtigar’s breasts, wanting nothing more to place his cock between them. And then paint them with his spend.
The narrow passageway started to widen when it started to decline, and the walls began to show small diamond shaped gaps in the stone wall that allowed a draft in. Valeana moved over to them and moaned satisfyingly. She threw her head back and allowed the gentle breeze waft over her arched neck and bosoms, forcing her reluctant guide’s eye to fixate on her. Then she started to unlace her bodice at the front, and something spiked inside him that felt like either panic or excitement.
“What are you doing?”
“I told you, I’m fucking hot,” she pulled one string at a time, exposing the thin chemise underneath. The weight of her breasts were nearly free from the confines of the corseted top, practically spilling out.
Perhaps it was panic. A sliver of pius upbringing that drove him to jerk his hand forward to stop her. The word ‘stop’ was on his lip as fear gripped his throat. Fear of what? Fear of being caught in a compromising position? Or fear of his desire? The fear of doing exactly what he implied his brother might do, had he been in Aemond’s place.
Aemond’s splayed hand was upon her breasts in an instant. It had ceased her movements, yes, but it effectively backfired for him. The width of his palm was holding back the spill of her heavy chest, and his fingers slightly curled into the soft flesh through the muslin fabric of her chemise. His thumb hovered over her cleavage, which rose and fell rapidly, only now for reasons other than trying to breathe through humid air.
Valeana looked down at his hand and then slowly raised her eyes to him. His Adam’s apple bobbed as he swallowed down his apprehension. Her pupils were blown wide, and he imagined that his single violet eye looked similarly. Aemond was breathing through the gap between his lips, which made him instinctively flick out his tongue and run it along the chapped skin. That’s when he caught her eyes flickering from his gaze, down towards his mouth.
The subtle motion emboldened him enough to finally move his thumb. His digit plunged between her breasts, immediately enveloped by their silky – albeit slick with sweat – and smooth embrace. The heat that stirred in his pelvis immediately clouded his judgement, but he kept still, waiting to see how she would react. When she didn’t move, he tested again by moving his thumb up and down the valley, and then over a mound.
And then it happened. Valeana arched her back into his touch and an airy plea in the form of his name was pulled from her plush pink lips. That was when Aemond became completely undone. She won. His resolve and will crumbled, and he fell on his knees before her like a sinner at the feet of the Maiden.
Notes: I think we can all collectively agree Aemond is a tit guy.

Heyy, do you write for cassie Lang? If yes, can I get a Cassie×male reader that is basically like your Abby littman story "the talk" but with Scott finding you making out in her bed
A/N: Combining with another request I got: Can I request a cassie lang×male reader where Scott caught them?
Cassie Lang x Male!reader
You're on top of Cassie as she's slowly unbuttoning your shirt while you're making out in her bed, you had the Lang house to yourselves and were taking full advantage of it.
She runs her hands down your now exposed chest and moans when your thigh presses up into her center giving her something to grind against for some much needed friction.
"Cass I'm home early- oh my god!" Scott says immediately covering his eyes when he walks into Cassie's room catching you and his daughter in this… intimate position.
"Dad!" Cassie shouts, shoving you away from her and you fall off the bed hitting the floor with a loud thud.
"Um hi mister Lang," you say awkwardly, peaking your head over the edge of the bed to gauge how much trouble you were in but he didn't seem mad or upset, just confused.
"Hey Y/N… so are you two like… boyfriend and girlfriend?" Scott asks, nervously removing his hand from his eyes to find you on your feet again and buttoning your shirt back up while Cassie is sitting up and hugging a pillow to her chest out of embarrassment.
"You didn't know? We've been dating for months," Cassie says raising an eyebrow, "why do you think we've been spending so much time together?"
"I don't know! I just thought you guys were really good buddies!" Scott replies.
"Seriously? He comes over for dinner at least twice a week," Cassie states, "and Hank literally made a joke a few days ago about Y/N being your future son in law."
"I'm sorry! I still forget you're grown up now and that means boys and sex and-"
"Oh god please don't say that word," Cassie begs.
"Sex? Sex is normal Cassie I mean your mom and I had to have sex to have you," Scott rambles.
"Gross! Stop talking!" Cassie shouts.
"Sir Cassie and I aren't- we haven't-" you say trying to fix the situation but Scott cuts you off.
"Y/N I like you and I think you are good for Cassie, I can accept that my little girl isn't so little anymore all I ask is that you use protection… you know when you do have sex."
Cassie groans and lays back, putting the pillow over her face, very okay with suffocating to death in that moment if it meant getting out of this conversation.
"Yes sir," you nod.
"Don't call me sir, it's Scott… or should I make you call me sir? Is that what dads are supposed to do with their daughters boyfriends? Does calling me sir make me seem more intimidating?" He keeps rambling.
"Dad please leave," Cassie pleas.
"Alright I'll go… but I'm leaving the door open," he says looking between you two like he's trying to make a point, "but Cassie if you ever want to talk about… things… we can do that."
"Okay bye," she says removing the pillow from her face as Scott finally leaves the room.
"So I think that went well," you say trying to lighten the mood but she just glares at you.
"I'm never leaving this bed," Cassie huffs.
"I'm okay with that," you chuckle, climbing on top of her to try to kiss her again.
"Not funny Y/N!" She says with a slight smile when she deflects so you kiss her cheek instead, "my dad just caught us making out."
"Oh come on Cassie your dad is cool, didn't you hear? He and your mom had sex to make you," you tease.
"If you mention my parents having sex one more time we are never having sex like ever," she warns.
"Duly noted," you say rolling over onto your side and putting your arm around her waist, "can we at least cuddle?"
"No way, what if he comes back up here?" She laughs.
"So now we can't even cuddle?" You pout.
"Not while he's home," she says, taking your arm and moving it off of her, "so keep your hands to yourself."
"But how am I supposed to do that when my girlfriend is so hot," you laugh, taking hold of her hips and pulling her in close to you and kissing her.
"Dad entering, is everyone's clothes still on?" Scott says to announce his presence making Cassie move away from you once more, "who wants Chinese take out for dinner?"
"This is the worst day ever," Cassie groans.

i wanna know how you wrote kiss it away honey, because i read it twice and there's something in the writing that fucks with my brain so bad, i don't really know how to explain it but it confuses the hell out of me and it's just so good
oooo i LOVE this question!! tysm for asking and i'm sorry this took me a while to answer
i'm so so sooo glad people really like this fic bc its so special to me! i feel like i really hit the jackpot when i wrote i really am so so proud of it!
i'm not quite sure if this is an answer but here have my ramble <3
to a certain degree its supposed to be a take on a general x reader fic, where the reader is worried or going through something and the character just does everything right and fixes everytging. so i guess, reader really is a self insert for me because when i first thought of this fic i was having an awful time and just wanted to cry in this guys arms. but somehow that got demented into the monster it is now!
it really is just one of those fics that gets better with on the second read, if i do say so myself. when i do put the part 2 out, i think re reading this will i think give u a lot of 'oh shit' moments (again, if i do say so myself)
the writing style is so fun to do. actions/emotions are written in very concise, short sentences. theres a lot of repetition for impact ofcourse we love her. both sort of add to the vagueness and ambiguity of it all that messes with your brain.
theres this juxtaposition of their more mundane and domestic moments as well as the very fucked things happening behind the scenes yk like murder and what is practically gaslighting your partner and yourself. Fun!
i feel like the way steve is written in this fic is so interesting. his devotion towards the reader is unparalled and unending. when @procrastinationprincesses was reading this fic for the first time, she mentioned how crazy it is that steve is dating what is practically his god, because the reader created him. and i think about that a lot lol
this is a bit embarassing to admit but around the time i was writing it, i was hyperfixating on a lot of the five nights at freddy's lore lmaoo like i was watching video essays that were multiple hours long so, many of the sentiments seeped from it. one particular one is one of the characters promises one dying character that he wil 'put him back together' which paralells 'he's the only one who could ever fix you' in the fic if that makes sense?
another thing that affected the tone of this fic was the fact that i always had to listen to mitski's "my love mine all mine" everytime i sat down to write. and i still have to do that when i try to get into the mood for part 2. the fic isnt necessarily based on it but the vibes are very much there
another thing i might have subconsciously taken from def was wandavision. i think that is self explanatory in of itself.
one of my fave lines i've ever written def has to be "silence was unbearable when it wasn't mixed in with your heartbeat" :( bc thats crazy i ate that i fear
#tysm fro asking me bbg again sorry it took me so long!#thanks for letting me ramble about one of my fave things i've written

Intak ✧ Quiet
✧ P1Harmony Intak x gn!reader ✧ words: ~900 ✧ genre: domestic fluff ✧ warnings: (reader is shorter than him, reader still lives with their parents)
Silence. You’re finally home after an incredibly exhausting day and it’s finally silent. You couldn’t wait for the moment you could just crash onto your couch in the middle of the living room and sit there and do nothing. You stare at the switched off TV screen in front of you and faintly see your reflection on the black glass. You stay like this for a while, just doing nothing and enjoying the peace, when you hear the front door being unlocked and opened, and a familiar voice calls out your name.
“Y/N, you home?” It’s your boyfriend Intak, and he lets himself in as per usual. You two have known each other for a long time and you’ve gotten so comfortable with each other that you even exchanged keys to both your houses, though it’s mostly him who randomly shows up to pay you a surprise visit from time to time.
“In the living room,” you answer soullessly.
“Oh, great! You wouldn’t believe what happened today!”, he exclaims, and after kicking off his shoes he makes his way over to you, all the while rambling on. “You know the guy from dance class I told you about last time? Turns out it wasn’t his sister who was sick when he skipped class last time!” He comes to a halt behind you and supports his arms on the backrest of the couch. “Another guy said he was actually with his girlfriend at that time! Skipping class so he can go on dates… I mean, not that I wouldn’t skip class if you needed me, but just to fool around? Isn’t that very irresponsible?”
“Yeah, it sure is…” you mumble, while you keep staring at the empty TV screen. You love your boyfriend, there is no doubt in that, and you love listening to his endless rambles, but right now he really isn’t reading the mood and you wish you could put some tape over his mouth or something to make him stop talking your ears off.
“And like, they’ve been dating for what, two weeks? Isn’t that too short to put priority on your relationship rather than your obligations? I mean I get wanting to live passionately, but you should have passion for your responsibilities as well, or not? Am I in the wrong here?” You let out a sigh. Then you force yourself to get up and you walk around the sofa. Meanwhile Intak still keeps talking, looking around the room as he does so. “Like, he has a pretty important position in our team as well, you know? I probably shouldn’t complain about someone older than me, but really, shouldn’t he be more responsible?” You’re now standing right in front of him. “I mean, we really need him in the-” Intak finally stops speaking, leaving off in the middle of a sentence as you cup his face with your hands and get on tiptoes to connect your lips with his. You give him a long kiss, enjoying the silence you just won back, and eventually you pull back, finding him looking at you with wide eyes.
“Oh, sh-should I just shut up?” he eventually stutters, a deep blush on his cheeks. Apparently you got your message across.
“I had a pretty rough day,” you explain, giving him an apologetic look. “As much as I want to hear your stories, I could really use some quiet right now.”
“Sure, sorry for not… noticing that,” he apologizes, and you see the tall boy in front of you suddenly becoming very small. You can feel that he regrets his mistake more than he’d need to.
“It’s okay,” you forgive him with an encouraging smile, and his confidence is right back where it’s supposed to be. So he puts his arms around you to give you a loose hug, and then he walks you around the couch to sit down with you. You put your head on his chest, as you often do, and he holds you close. The feeling of the familiar warmth eases your mind a bit.
“Wanna talk about it?” he asks. This time his voice is low and quiet, and it carries a certain seriousness.
“Not really,” you respond, shaking your head. So instead of talking, he starts drawing little patterns on the skin of your arms and shoulders, and you close your eyes at the relaxing touch. It amazes you how this bundle of pure energy can become so calm and collected sometimes, and at the same time you’re thankful for having him here. Whether he’s pulling you along with his own excitement, or giving you a safe space to rest next to him, just like he is doing now, somehow you can always recharge your own energy when you’re with him.
“Should we order something for dinner?” You eventually break the silence with a question. “I’m kinda craving take-out food,” you admit with a chuckle.
“Anything for my favourite person,” he says and you sit up to give him a long and thorough look, wondering just what you have done to deserve him.
“You pay,” you add and watch how his expression changes from adoration to an offended one.
“I only have limited amounts of money too, okay!” he starts complaining, and before he can get any louder you lean in to give him another peck on his lips.
“Then… I’ll ask my parents if they want anything too and hope they pay for us?” you suggest. The cheeky grin on Intak’s face tells you he thinks it’s at least worth a try, and feeling not so tired anymore you run off to the room where your parents are still working.

General ramble update:
ME/CFS crash is the most shittest shitty thing ever to exist. and makes sensory so bad with the sweating and sweating and the temperature dysregulation and the pain and the flushing hot hot face ears neck chest bad angry bad.
and then can't properly regulate sensory OR emotional because swing is make sore and more tired and more flush face ears neck chest.
and in a weird weather point where my usual hoodie makes too warm and sweaty (Worst Bad Sensory Ever), but arms is cold with only t-shirt no hoodie...
AND can't do physio walking because of crash. i thought it got better for a day or two, then did too much (mostly swing), now it is worse than the first part of the crash.
fucking hate ME/CFS it is the cruelest most horrible disease and i so so fucking wish i didn't have it
Also, AFOs still give problems (so can't even wear at this point). we try to contact orthotics people, but honestly i don't know if they can do much different at this point. i don't know if they could edit the ones i have to be wear-able, and if they can't then i really don't want to go through the process of getting another pair made, just for it to not work (and have to struggle with disappointment All Over Again).
i know i said before positive things about these AFOs, but that is my usual mess up of following scripts (copy/borrow words from others) before i even know my own feelings. i mix up anxiety and apprehension and not-sure-yet feelings with excited, because they are all "high" feelings. like buzzy and tense and energy. similar body feeling, maybe? then it is only a while later when i actually process my own body feelings, both for emotions (like anxious and disappointed) and physical sensations (like the pressure-pain from AFOs). it is only then i can say accurate things about the subject. this applies to any subject for me.
and Mum and Dad ordered a recliner chair for me, to put my Recliner Support System (from Special Tomato) on. when the chair comes they will set it all up, then at some point i will try it. but i will learn from my mistakes with speaking too soon on AFOs, and wait a while until i process, then update on that.
i think i am getting very very gradually slower. definitely having more semi-stuck moments where i can still move my body but can't transition task - or can't even know what i am supposed to do next. it is taking me longer and longer each toilet trip, i get stuck sitting on the toilet and between each step. it is affecting all my movements, but i try not to compare the walking part too much since there is other factors in that.
i want to write much more about regression and (highly suspected) catatonia stuff. i have a lot to say.
more mood stuff like getting easily "worked up" and aggression, and more getting close to meltdown easily, more hit self without control when i get only a tiny bit upset. but that is also part of ME/CFS crash for me, so i will not judge that until i have longer time to compare it.
also mentally everything is just hard. (which is also partial explanation for the quick aggression and mood shit). i "clock out" or "shut off" most of the time, because i simply don't have the time, ability, energy, to even think about everything that is happening/has happened to me. whether due to health shit, past trauma, regression/decline... it is all too much. brain loud. and loud = takes more energy. so, i can't.
this post seems overall quite negative, i think. but that is just my mental place recently. it is not always quite this bad internally for me. but when it is bad, i can't pull myself out of it, i don't have that ability, i can't regulate like that. only suppress and ignore and avoid, in hopes of avoiding meltdowns. my only hope is swing swing swing, music, watch things, and shut off clock out brain. don't let myself think or feel or remember the reality. just live in the safe parts of my brain's inside world.
hopefully i will have more positive feeling soon, and maybe happier things to share. although it is important for me to share the shit stuff too, it gets out of my brain a bit this way, relieve some pressure. i just wish i could get more out (of past things and memories, mostly. that is what makes the most noise in my head).
at least i have sensory galaxy light projector, Downton Abbey, sudoku, and safe music playlist (called "fills brain just right"). 💚

hello!!! I’m an avid reader of all ur fics, but especially don’t shy from the light, as in I genuinely couldn’t tell you how many times I’ve re-read it. I love the relationship in it and the story is just so fun
I was wondering if it takes your fancy to speculate about this - how do u reckon sam and bucky of that universe deal with bucky beginning to come into his glory days?
like in the fic sam tells bucky how success and fame etc is coming his way. and he’s so in bucky’s corner for him living out all his fighting dreams to the max which obvs comes with the flashy flirty parts too. do you think he’d ever feel conflicted/like he’s tied him down?
bc I love how on bucky’s side and pov in the story winning and living it up with sam is his dream. like I wonder how he gets that across to sam
sorry for the rambling ask, it was a little brain itch for me!
(also no pressure to respond of course!)
Hey! Omg this was such a mood booster ask to get! I am extremely happy that you enjoy and re-read the story, thank you!
And YES I would absolutely LOVE to ramble about this! And anything else you or anyone has ever wondered about in my fics.
Ramblings about this fic below the cut!!
Alright, so I think Bucky’s fame comes so fast it knocks them on their asses. Like it’s great at first, he’s winning matches left and right, he’s in all the papers, he’s trending on various platforms, TV interviews, podcast sessions, radio shows, merch, people throwing their underwear at him LOL. He’s THE guy suddenly.
And like that’s fine, hell Sam’s even enjoying it, seeing that sexy little smirk when he’s talking cheeky to the press, the glint in his eyes whenever he mentions his coach.
So then naturally some fancy gym, some big-time coach with a huge reputation and an even huger budget offers to train Bucky—and like this would be the opportunity of a lifetime, world titles guaranteed—but Bucky still chooses Sam.
I can see this creating a bit of tension because Sam tells him to go for it but Bucky is adamant that yeah he wants to win the world champs but he’ll do it with Sam. And maybe this means training harder, jumping through hoops for sponsors, but he has no doubt that him and Sam can do it together.
Sam would absolutely feel like he’s not doing enough, even in the fic he’s got a lot of reservations for a lot of reasons. His fear of what happened to Riley possibly happening to Bucky too, the guilt, the “I shouldn’t be responsible for this kid’s career” So he would push and push for Bucky to join the other team, to let the big-time coach train him and get him to the world champs.
Bucky would get pretty frustrated about it. I imagine an argument about it because how many damn times does he have to tell Sam you’re it. He’s starting to think Sam wants him to go. So, pissed off as hell, he says fine, I’ll give you what you want, and storms out. And maybe the next day there’s a press conference where Bucky’s supposed to announce he’s joining the big-time coach because that’s the logical decision and what Sam—and the whole country tbh—expects him to do.
So Bucky’s sitting on the panel, grumpy. Sam’s sitting at home, moping because look, that’s his guy. He hates thinking of some other asshole taking Bucky in. (Conveniently he’s going to remember all those steamy training sessions they had at the start, being up close and very personal with Bucky, that time they fucked in his office) and he’s going to be hating on Big-Time Coach for no good reason lmao.
Then, when the reporter finally asks him about the potential contract with Big-Time Coach, and if he’s got something to announce regarding the rumors, Bucky leans into the mic and says “Yeah.” And like everyone gasps and starts scribbling on their little pads.
At home, Sam’s heart drops and he’s on his feet before he realizes, watching that TV with rapt attention. Suddenly his world is narrowed to a 70-inch flat screen. And maybe this is the moment he realizes what matters the most and how hard-headed he’s been and now he might lose everything because he keeps underestimating himself and letting his doubts get the better of him.
And then Bucky says, “I ain’t going anywhere.” And he looks straight into the camera. He knows Sam’s watching. “I go all the way to the top with Sam Wilson, and Sam Wilson only, or I don’t go anywhere at all.”
Sam’s relieved, has to sit down maybe because that was close and now he wants nothing more than to have Bucky back home with him and much later Bucky will come home and still be grumpy as hell, glaring at Sam from across the room and Sam will try to soften him with some sweet talk but all he wants to do it take Bucky into his arms and kiss him stupid.
Maybe Sam breaks the ice with “Sam Wilson and Sam Wilson only, huh?” while they’re standing around the kitchen island pecking at dinner and avoiding eye contact. And bucky will roll his eyes and say “Did I stutter?” and Sam will get an instant boner—no ok, he’d go over to Bucky and say “No sweetheart. No you didn’t” and kiss him.
Grueling training for the world champs starts the next week. Grueling. Bucky regrets everything and Sam thinks it’s really funny wearing a shirt that says “Sam Wilson Only”
Anyways. It could probably go a few ways but this scenario was most fun! Hope this answered your question 😊 and thanks for the opportunity to ramble!

Timeless Wells (Flash) - Speedster Chapter 25
At some point you’d passed out on the couch after running around the city.
When you woke up you were disoriented. At first you were confused about everything, but after you took a shower and had a meal, the memories began slowly filtering back.
“Oh my gosh..”
There was a part of you that thought it was just a dream, but when you got in that morning, you saw Harrison and he flushed.
That’s when you knew.
He guided you to his office, the entire walk felt so terribly awkward. The minute you’re inside you apologize.
“I’m so sorry!!”
Harrison couldn’t help but laugh.
“It’s alright. I should have been more cautious. I just assumed you would run out the energy build up from that strike.”
That is more rational. You let out a sigh, running a hand through your hair. For a moment, you gaze at him, because you remember everything. The desire in his eyes when you basically attacked him. Even though he had resisted, you still remember it. That heat.
Maybe he realizes that you’re thinking about it. Because there is a reflection of that look. You lower your eyes, stepping back.
“W-Well I should get back to work.”
Darting out of the room, Harrison watches with a smile.
“What am I going to do with you?”
~
When you return to work, Avery and Evan are interrogating you.
“Are you sure you’re okay? Let me see your charts. Those doctors are so laid back.” She’s ranting and you can’t help but smile and feel grateful that you have someone so invested in your safety.
“I’m fine. The company doctor checked me. I’m sure they pay the guy millions. He must be one of the best.”
She looks a little more at ease.
“Okay, that’s good.”
Evan smiles.
“You really had us worried.”
“I’ll be more careful from now on. I’m also sorry Avery. I couldn’t save your device.”
“Oh no worries, I’m completely accident prone so I have about three prototypes.” Evan laughs and so do you. Only she would look so confident while saying that.
“Besides I’d much rather have my friend over some machine. I can always replace that, but you’re irreplaceable.”
Her words are a bit of a surprise, and she blushes once she realizes.
“W-Well I’m sure you already know that!”
She’s laughing, clearly embarrassed and you have to say that it’s been so long since you’ve been so unapologetically happy. You reach over and hug her and those little ramblings of hers stop.
“Thank you.”
You almost feel like crying, Avery is definitely crying.
“I love you guys so much!!” She hugs back happily and Evan joins.
“Now you made her all emotional.” He chuckles. He runs a hand over the back of her head, and he sends you a soft look.
“I’m glad you’re okay.”
He whispers. You smile, excited that you finally seem to have a family again.
~
The rest of the day passes with ease.
For once you’re the one leaving first. Avery is doing some adjustments to her prototype and Evan has stayed back to keep her company while he runs through a few notes of his own. She’s smiling the entire time, bobbing her head to a song. He watches, clearly distracted from his own work. He’s sitting fairly close.
“You’re in a good mood huh.”
She nods, still screwing in some bolts.
“Of course! My best friend is safe, my inventions are really coming along and I have a hot boyfriend.”
Obviously the last one was not supposed to be uttered aloud. She drops the tool, cheeks matching her fiery hair.
“You think I’m hot.” He smirks.
“Y-You’re aesthetically pleasing to the eyes!” She defends.
He has to say that he’s lucky. Had he not met you that day, he probably would have never spoken to Avery. The both of you have become pretty important people in his life and he is fortunate.
It’s nice to have people in his circle. This field was very competitive and he’d even lost a few friends when he was awarded the internship that budding scientists envied. His time at the start felt like a constant competition. It was exhausting, especially since he really loved being a scientist.
Yet, being with you and Avery, it’s never a competition. You all seem to learn from each other. You’re knowledgeable in so many fields yet you tend to stay out of the spotlight. You always help when he seems stuck on a task. Avery is encouraging in every sense of the word. She seems to have an optimistic view on everything and she works hard, even when she gets frustrated.
He’s more than lucky, he’s blessed.
He reaches over, taking her hand and the color seems to get brighter.
“I think between the both of us, you’re the most aesthetically pleasing.” He compliments.
His smile is easy, and when he leans in, Avery follows, sighing happily at the soft kiss.
Life was good, that’s for sure.

Sneaking Around
Bridgehid Masterlist [start from the beginning?]
@jj-pines @karaboutmyart @lerenee
"What are the scientific theories in biology?"
"...Uhm, cell theory and gene theory?"
"You're forgetting one," Rowan remarked.
"Really?" Elias questioned.
"Starts with an H," they replied.
"Oh, oh! It's on the tip of my tongue!"
Rowan giggled, "You got it, you got it!"
"HOMEOSTASIS THEORY!"
"YEAH!"
"Alright, I'm giving you that one," they stated as they checked off the question on the study guide in front of them, "That's all the questions, you got a 23 out 30, that's better than the first exam."
"I am okay with that," Elias said proudly.
Rowan flashed him a small smile before looking back down at the study guide for Elias's most disliked class. The guide was placed on top of the biology textbook.
The two teens were sitting in one of the campus' small little green areas.
Elias noticed the shift in their mood, raising an eyebrow before he asked, "What's wrong?"
"Things are getting weird," they muttered.
"And what do you mean by that?" he pondered.
Rowan sighed, "The creatures from the tower, the whole chosen one stuff? I first thought that it was just some crazy cursed demonic, whatever the hell, speech," they rambled, "But then Georgia's grandmother said that something big is coming, and I am at the center of it. ...What the fuck does that even mean?!"
Elias nodded along.
"Ever since I got here, things have been weird! Like this has been nice and fun. I'm making friends, and I am back in school. But my parents are dead, and I know nothing about them, I don't remember them, hell I don't even recognize them!"
Rowan over-exaggeratedly flopped into Elias's lap, making his cheeks become flushed, "Something happened when I was little that I can't remember no matter how hard I try, and it makes me so angry!"
"Do you think it has anything to do with your mom's death?" Elias asked as he looked down at them.
"...Probably," they sighed.
"I know it doesn't help, but I remember her," he commented.
"You knew her?" Rowan asked, slightly shocked.
Elias made a face, "I saw her like two times, her appearance is hard to forget."
"That doesn't make me feel any better," Rowan groaned.
"Well let me make you feel worse," Elias half-joked, "We met when we were little."
Rowan groaned, before slapping their hands over their face.
"It was only once. When I was like eight... or maybe I was seven? I don't know. Anyway, we met in the courtyard on campus. We watched ants for like 15 minutes and then when you left... I never saw you again... Well until now."
The pink-haired teen groaned again, "Oh goddess..."
"Hey, it's no big deal," Elias replied with a kind smile, "We were little."
"This isn't just a case of not remembering because I was six, I don't remember because I can't remember anything from before I was 9!"
"I've heard of old mages and alchemists "locking away" people's memories. Mostly so they could commit crimes," Elias relayed, "Maybe someone locked away your memories when you were little?"
"Why would someone take away the memories of a kid?!"
Elias shrugged, thinking for a moment, "You said that you don't remember very much of whatever your life was before you were here at the college. ..Maybe someone did it because you did or saw something you weren't supposed to?"
Rowan groaned once again.
"...And maybe the college has stuff on file from that time." Elias offered.
The idea that Elias just posed made Rowan jump up, "Okay, great, that's perfect actually," there was a moment of thought, "..But how would I even get my files?"
Elias shrugged once again, "Indigo, maybe?"
"You are a genius," Rowan replied, jumping to their feet, "Let's go break into Indigo's office!"
"Goddess," Elias chuckled, getting up from the grassy hill, and following them toward the building.
They quietly made their way to Indigo's office, greeted by the door where Elias pulled out his bobby pin before he kneeled to lockpick the door.
"Dude, why?" Rowan scoffed while laughing.
"Do you have a key?" Elias replied, "...My sister taught me, just give me a second."
"Dude!," they laughed quietly before grabbing the doorknob and twisting the door open, "She doesn't lock her office. It's so Calvin can get in."
Elias sighed with a smile, getting off the floor and following Rowan into the mage's office.
That same mage was just a few doors down talking to one of her colleagues. Discussing the next day's training.
She looked exhausted, her speech was even slurred, yet it went unnoticed by the older mage.
However, when Percy walked by, she noticed.
"Corals?" she said with a questioning and slightly concerned tone in her voice.
Indigo turned around.
"Goddess, Indigo, you look like shit," Percy gasped, seeing the French woman's-tired eyes and dark circles.
"What do you need Percival?" Indigo asked.
"Have you slept recently?"
"Percival, if you don't need anything, I'm in the middle of a conversa—" Indigo began to turn around mid-sentence before beginning to fall to the floor.
Percy caught her before she hit the floor, shocked that the great Indigo Corals fainted from exhaustion in front of her.
The cursed professor picked the French woman up, biding their mage colleague well, before rushing to the infirmary.
"BOOKSTONE!"
Percy barged into the infirmary yelling Calvin's last name, causing the healers in the room to turn to attention.
"Mr. Corals is in the forge," one of the healers squeaked out.
Percy clicked her tongue, "Mr. Corals, good goddess," she sighed, "You idiots! Help her!"
The healers took Indigo from Percy, she turned to the other healers who were watching the madness unfolding in front of them, "Call him, you imbeciles!"
Back in Indigo's office, Rowan and Elias looked around, Elias sat at the mage's desk in her chair while Rowan looked through a filing cabinet.
Indigo's office was dimly lit by a few desk lamps scattered throughout the room. It was the same beige/brown color of the college.
Yet, her office felt so whimsical with bobbles, little trinkets, and other such objects that screamed Indigo and magehood.
"Indigo looks really different with her hair short," Elias remarked, looking at the framed photos from Indigo and Calvin's wedding.
"They have a whole wall of pictures in their house, it's weird how Indigo can look so different but also the same at the same time," Rowan replied, "AH-HA!"
Rowan pulled out a thick file that sat in the "R" tab of Indigo's filing cabinet.
They carried it over to the desk and sat it in front of Elias, "This is all on me," they sighed.
"Let's get to looking!"
They spent the next couple of hours looking through old documents.
The texts went from just standard transcripts that the two friends found themselves joking about and simple medical records from when Rowan was a child, to documents that became more and more censored the further the two of them looked.
Which made them both more concerned but also furthered their curiosity.
Whilst the teens were somewhere they weren't supposed to be, Indigo finally woke up.
Indigo opened her eyes and registered that she was in the infirmary.
She heard movement in the room, which sounded like Percy.
"Baiser," she sighed.
"Baiser is right."
This was probably the only time Indigo did not want to look at her husband.
The sound of the door shutting made her jump slightly before she tried to sit up.
"Easy," Calvin sighed, "You're lucky Percy was there."
Once she sat up, she finally brought herself to look at him.
He was upset, obviously, his arms firmly crossed across his chest with this look of disappointment and anger.
"I don't want to do this right now," Indigo muttered looking away from him.
"Well I do," Calvin declared with force, "So we're doing this."
Indigo rolled her eyes.
"Hey," he said sternly, his tone making her look at him, "You passed out from exhaustion, Indigo! You've been lying to me!"
"I haven't lied!"
"I asked you every day for the past three weeks, including yesterday: are you okay? Have you been sleeping? Is there anything I could help you with? What was your answer?! No, you were fine," he hollered.
"I just assumed that I was fine!"
"I don't like that answer!"
"My goddess, Calvin, I've been working! Working my ass off! I've been trying to take care of Rowan and all the shit that is happening around them, taking care of our house, my students, my new apprentice, my classes, my fucking mages. So, I got a little exhausted, no big fucking deal!"
"Indigo, you collapsed!"
"It's not the first time, Calvin," she mumbled.
"Goddess," he scoffed, rolling his eyes, "I don't want there to be any more times, Indigo!"
Indigo shook her head, "I can't make any promises," she said almost incomprehensible.
The healer-blacksmith shook his head, "..Indigo," he sighed as he saw her staring out the window avoiding his gaze, before he looked away and exhaled, "I can't watch you do this to yourself anymore."
Her eyes widened quickly as she looked back at him, "What do you mean?!"
"Angel."
It made her feel a bit better that he called her by one of his favorite nicknames instead of her actual name.
"I've told many times: I'm on your side. No matter what you want, how you want it, or how you're going to get it, I do not care, I will help you and stand beside you. I will be in your corner always," he began to explain as he approached the bed she sat in, "But, there is also a caveat to me being on your side with no questions asked, and it's that you don't do shit like this! You don't get yourself hurt on purpose, you try to keep yourself out of harm's way, and you come to me if you need help!"
Indigo didn't speak, waiting for him to continue after a pause.
"You, Mrs. Bookstone, are my only concern," he cooed, sitting at the end of her bed, "and because of that, I can't stay by your side and watch you destroy yourself. In fact, I won't allow it."
She nodded along.
"I know this stuff with Rowan is difficult and super stressful, but please take better care of yourself."
The French mage sighed, "I've hit the floor, huh? The bottom-ha-there is no falling anymore."
"Yes, but I'm here to help you up, angel," he mused.
"I'll try to be less self-destructive," Indigo stated.
"Thank you, angel eyes," he muttered, kissing her forehead, "You're going to stay here until the end of my shift, what do you need from your office?"
"...Calvin," she huffed.
"Yeah, no," he replied with a slight chuckle, knowing she wanted to leave, "What do you need?"
"My laptop, my beige bi-fold, and my phone," she listed, "The door isn't locked."
"I'll be right back."
"Thank you, grenade."
"Of course, angel eyes."
"I love you, Calvin," she called as he left.
"I love you, too," he replied, even though he was out of the room already.
Back in Indigo's office, Rowan was slumped in the office chair as Elias stood in the middle of the office with the overhead light on in an attempt to see the text beneath the black boxes on the sheet of paper in his hand with the help of the bright light.
"Elias, just stop," Rowan sighed with their head in their hands.
The long-haired teen looked over at his friend.
He saw how distraught they were over the whole situation; this was his idea and it had not gone how either of them wanted, "Rowan, I'm sorry," he sighed his arms now down at his sides, the paper he was trying to inspect clutched in his hand.
Rowan shook their head slightly, "Don't worry abo—"
The office door then opened, and Calvin was standing in the doorway.
Everyone froze in place as Calvin analyzed the room, the healer saw Elias and Rowan looking at him with wide eyes, the latter in the middle of the room, and the former in his wife's office chair, papers all over the Indigo's large desk, as well as one of her large filing cabinets drawers wide open.
Calvin cleared his throat, straightening himself up in the doorway looking upon the two teens, "You two aren't supposed to be in here... are you?"
"We are sorry, Mr. Bookstone," Elias squeaked.
Calvin cringed, "Just..." he sighed, "Stand outside, you two are coming with me after I get Indigo's things."
Rowan and Elias sheepishly nodded, waiting for Calvin to gather up what he was asked to, before taking them back to the infirmary and relaying what he had walked in on to his wife.
The two teens sat on a bench outside waiting to be reprimanded.
"She wants to talk to you, kid," Calvin remarked, making Rowan perk up before entering the hospital room.
Indigo didn't look pleased. She looked tired and irritated with her arms crossed as she sat upright in that hospital bed.
"I'm sor—"
"What exactly were you two looking for?" Indigo interrupted.
"Just stuff on me," Rowan answered.
"Why?"
Rowan sighed, they had never discussed the why with Indigo before, "I don't remember my childhood, and I wanted to find out if there was anything that could explain why."
Indigo shook her head, "Why didn't you come to me?" she asked.
They shrugged.
"So..." Indigo cleared her throat, "Did you find what you were looking for?"
They shook their head while staring at their feet.
"Mmm-hmm," Indigo hummed, "Did you find anything of interest?"
"Actually... Why are my records censored?" Rowan inquired.
Indigo paused for a millisecond, "...Because they are just copies of your records, even though I am your legal guardian, you and I are not biologically related. If I request your records, they will come to me censored."
There was something about the way that she explained it that made them not trust her account.
It made them want to push the issue, "Is there anything behind the censoring that explains why I don't recall my childhood?" Rowan asked.
There is a longer pause than the last, "...No," Indigo replied, "Like I have told you before I have no idea why you have no memories and believe me, I have searched for the answers why."
Rowan huffed, becoming increasingly irritated, "...So you don't have any theories?!"
"None that make sense," Indigo said with quite an erratic tone, "I have looked everywhere for answers for you, Rowan, I really have. It's possible that there are no answers to your questions."
The teen exhaled, leaving the room for the mage to sit in peace, whilst Rowan went back to sit with Elias, their head resting on his shoulder as they sulked.
"First time getting in trouble?" he asked.
Rowan nodded, "It's not just that... I think Indigo is right, I will never get my answers."
"What are you guys doing here?"
The duo looked up to see an ever-concerned Maverick with a clipboard pinned tightly to his chest.
"Hey, Ricky, we're..." Elias paused, debating on telling Maverick what they had done and why, "We just got in trouble with Indigo and Calvin."
"Really, why?"
"Eh-well—"
"You can tell him Elias, it's fine," Rowan groaned with their forehead against his shoulder.
"Well, we snuck into Indigo's office, because Rowan wanted to find their file to see if there was anything that could explain their amnesia," Elias explained, "We got caught after not really finding anything."
"I found out that my dad died of an illness, and that I was sick for a bit when I was five, and the rest was blacked out," Rowan moaned, "I don't think there is any documented reason why my memories are gone. It's just a mystery I will never solve."
Maverick stood in front of them wide-eyed. He had no idea that this was the reason they didn't remember him or the horrible things that had happened in the past.
Why were they so thrilled to be at the college, or open to talking to Duke, and just being in this environment? Yet, he couldn't say what he was thinking, but he so desperately wanted to.
"I-I'm sorry to hear that Rowan," he replied shakily, "I...I have to get back to work. I'll talk to you guys later."
With that the older teen walked away, leaving Elias and Rowan to sit on that bench feeling disheartened and deeply saddened. It seemed that the truth about baby Rowan just might not exist after all.
"When will I stop lying to them?" Indigo asked Calvin as he sat on the side of her bed.
"I don't know, angel, that's a choice you have to make," he answered as he brushed the hair out of her face, "What's the harm of telling them the truth about some things?"
She shrugged, "Because it will cause them to ask more questions, questions I actually don't know the answer to."
"So, you think making them ignorant will make it better?" he posed softly.
"Not ignorant. It's just to make them forget about all of that and focus on the things that will make them happy."
"What if knowing even the slightest bit will make them happy?"
The French woman gave him a look.
"All alright, angel, I'll stop," he cooed, "I'm going to check on Casper."
She only nodded, still sulking from her previous conversation with her ward.
She could see Elias and Rowan sitting on the bench outside her room through the glass wall that held the door. Both of them with their backs to her. She had never lied so much in her life, it was eating her alive.

Chapter 1
Part 3
Edwart was standing unsatisfied with a wry face at the top of the stairs with a piece of paper that had written four Hogsmeade shops. Not that he understood any of this magical babbling. His sour mood also affected the fact that Sebastian Sallow out of all people was assigned to assist him on a trip to Hogsmeade.
“Just my luck,” Edwart thought to himself. “The Blattering King…”
“Hello Sebastian,” Edwart said tiredly
“Ah! My new ‘charge’” Sebastian said with amusement
Edwart quickly rolled his eyes and continued listening
“I'm told you're in dire need of supplies and I'm to accompany you into Hogsmeade for them. Is this your first foray into the village?”
“Yes it is” Edwart answered flatly
“Hogsmeade's a charming little place. Self-contained. too. We should be able to find you everything that you need. Shall we?” Sebastian said with a shade of glee.
Both boys headed outside, Edwart couldn't contain a smile. It was a very warm sunny summerish afternoon.
Sebastian caught his smile but decided not to ruin the moment…
“I was glad Professor Weasley asked me to join you today,” Sebastian stated
Edwart didn't want to reply but his chivalry side took over.
“Yes. Thank you for the help” He mumbled a little sheepishly
“Of course!” Sebastian beamed “You're the only one who's ever bested me in a duel. The way I see it, I'd be wise to keep an eye on you…”
They kept walking in a blissful silence before Sebastian started talking again.
Edwart sighed quietly.
“Speaking of Weasley. she seems to have taken quite a shine to you.”
Edwart furrowed his eyebrows and only replied “Why do you think so?”
“I-” Sebastian clearly didn't expect such a reply “I don't know. I've just noticed…”
Sebastian quickly changed topics even though Edwart noticed.
“Anyway, aren't you Hufflepuff's supposed to be kind? I don't see that on you” he teased
“Oh, I am kind, just not to you.” Edwart answered coldly “My kindness has to be earned with loyalty. For now, I don't quite trust you…”
Sebastian just smiled and added
“For. now. indeed…”
And continued on his rambling while still taking a path towards Hogsmeade.
“I’m still surprised that a professor would entrust me with anything. given my detention record” Sebastian said a little too proudly for Edwarts feeling.
“Spend a lot of time in detention. Do you?” Edwart just snorted with a little smile.
“Just enough to keep me well-rounded” Sebastian returned the smile
Sebastian was in the middle of some passionate explaining why he got in trouble with the librarian but Edwart's mind was already far away looking at pretty flies above some bushes.
“They're pretty to look at” Sebastian spoke behind Edwart’s back “This is an excellent spot to gather lacewing flies. If you stew them long enough they make a powerful potion ingredient.”
“lacewing flies…” Edwart mumbled under his breath.
They kept on walking, Sebastian kept on rambling and Edwart was barely listening.
Then suddenly Sebastian did say something that caught Edwart’s attention:
“I've always thought Thestrals pulling a carriage a bit grim,” Sebastian said with a gloomy voice
“Thestrals?” Edwart asked absent-minded
“Those animals we just passed?” Sebastian said with a lifted eyebrow
“Oh.” Edwart exhaled “They look like bony horses,” he thought
‘Though I suppose most people don't actually see them at all.” Sebastian continued
“So…They only appear to those who've seen death?” Edwart asked intrigued
“Yes. Precisely” Sebastian answered
“But you can see Thestrals?” Edwart mumbled not thinking Sebastian would hear
Sebastian did though “Unfortunately. But you've seen quite a bit yourself first-hand, most notably that dragon attack.”
Edwart kept silent this time
“Hopefully the rest of your year isn't as eventful.” Sebastian shot him a comforting smile
As they were closing onto Hogsmeade Sebastian finally decided he had a question he was dying to ask the new student…
“Can I ask you something?” Sebastian asked with a small hesitation
“You can ask but I won't promise I'll answer” Edwart answered with a little snappy smile
“Hmph! Fair enough.” Sebastian mirrored Edwart's smile and continued “Are you a muggleborn?”
Edwart felt a little lost and looked at Sebastian and spoke once again “A what?"
“A person with non-magical folks” Sebastian answered biting his lip a bit knowing this could be like treading on thin ice.
“Oh.” Edwart answered quickly with a bit of with surprise “Wouldn’t know. Never met them.”
“Then where did you-” Sebastian started, but Edwart interrupted him.
“Why does it matter?” Edwart asked with annoyance
“I just-” Sebastian spoke but was interrupted
“How about we talk about you.” Edwart answered coldly “Where are your parents?”
Sebastian opened his mouth to speak but no words came out so Edwart answered him again
“Let me guess… Dead or They Abandoned you. But I am betting on the first one. You fit the type… ” Edwart spoke with the type of coldness he didn’t know he possessed “Why do you insist on talking about my matters all the time? You don't talk about yourself any more than I do”
Sebastian didn't speak the rest of the way to Hogsmeade. Edwart was grateful for that, even though he did feel a small wave of guilt filling him up.
After they finally reached the center of the Hogsmeade, Sebastian stopped and finally spoke:
“Weasley told me you had a list of things to get, a wand and some other bits?”
“Yes, but don't worry about me. I'll manage” Edwart spoke back as if to cut any proposition of joining
“Alright then.” Sebastian said with a little grimace “Let's meet up in the town circle when you're finished”
“Remember, have fun. It's Hogsmeade” Sebastian added before he disappeared in a nearby street.

Archi journal #1
As the first post on the blog, and as one does at the beginning of everything, we start by asking why. I feel like I must explain the premise of why I enjoy architecture, and how do I perceive architecture.
Personally, there are a few ways I look at architecture as a subject, aesthetically (the matters of the heart), and conceptually/theoretically (the matters of the brain).
Perceiving beauty
There is no denying that when one enters a beautiful space, their mood can be instantly transformed. Human bodies recognise beauty in unexplainable ways. For me, it comes as a form of elevated excitement, and sometimes an overwhelming sense of being moved. When I enter a space I enjoy, I sense an ecstatic emotion that is so strong that I sometimes feel like I am hit by a truck (not that there is anything ecstatic about that, but you know what I mean) and my heartbeat falls in step with the light and shadow interplay within the space. It is very similar to art, you can enjoy beauty without any explanation and the connection is instant.
This is one of my favourite structures in Tokyo, the National Art Center Tokyo, designed by Kisho Kurokawa (黑川 紀章). I still remember the intense joy I felt as I climbed up the stairs from the metro, walked through the glass walkway and entered through the side entrance to be greeted by this light-flooded space. This, to me, is the definition of "instant beauty" I am describing above. No explanation is needed and you feel the space with your senses.
Contextualising space
After my heart decides that I am a fan of the space, my brain then desperately wants to understand, "but why". And that is when I think, for me, the fun begins. Context is crucial for me to make sense of the space, and this means the following information:
who designed it
what school of thought influenced the design
when was this built
what was the socio-economic condition in the region/country surrounding the construction
was there any specific historical, practical, technical considerations influencing the final design
I am a complete layman when it comes to architecture with no formal training, but I am interested in the connection of things. The fact that one structure is designed a certain way can be a reference to something else, and chasing through the association is an intellectually fun trip for me to make. If I enjoy this structure designed by Tadao Ando, I need to understand Le Corbusier. If I like Mies van der Rohe, I must learn about Bauhaus. And so through all the visits, my list of to-read books becomes longer and the bricks of books are also getting bigger and heavier (why can't they make pocket books about architecture baffles me). I still have a lot to learn and I have barely scratched the surface, but the satisfying moment when you had an 'ah ha' moment connecting features you see in one structure with another building you've studied, is so worth it.
For example reading about Álvaro Siza made it much easier to perceive the spatial design of Foundation Serralves and the interior design ethos.
Well, this is it, I suppose. Thanks for reading through my random ramblings. More to come. Ciao for now.

seth's new design!! wow!!
SO YEAH this is the seth redesign i was talking about in my last post!!
basically i was like "hey.. so rapunzel's hair changed color in the end, right. and it got shorter. so what if we did the same with seth, except in his case it's getting longer". and. yeah, here i am.
i think it's good for my ocs to have redesigns actually! i want them to age and i want them to change!!
and yes. yes, i know that he looks so much like riku and arata. i know. i blamed myself for not being creative enough but then i was like "well. all of them have different personalities and backstories and arata is especially different from seth and riku". so. yeah👍 i just have my fav tropes and styles and aesthetics and obviously i try to include them in my oc designs as much as possible! my vidia boy is probably going to join this dark-haired boy gang hehe.. i will introduce him. one day. give me some time.
some design notes + bonus drawings under the cut!
seth's redesign notes:
as you have probably already noticed, his hair is getting longer. he doesn't really want to cut it and he actually wants to grow it out. he's not sure if he wants it to be as long as it was when he was a child, but.. we'll see. it's actually a huge deal for him because he was afraid of his hair getting longer and he tried to cut it as often as possible since luna claimed that she thinks seth looks better with long hair, so.. he's finally able to move on :)
it's not so noticeable here bc of the filter i used but seth still has purple highlights! they're just more subtle now.
what is not subtle at all, however, that he has even more piercings and tattoos everywhere now. he has some on his back and legs too, they're just not visible here.
the tattoo on his neck is actually supposed to look like a chameleon's tail.
he has a new choker too and surprisingly, it's more pastel compared to the rest of his outfit.
he decided that he's too cool for the nrc uniform, so now his uniform doesn't have that many similarities with it, he doesn't wear his jacket anymore and his shirt has shorter sleeves. the thingy on his vest is kinda supposed to be a reference to the dark mirror.
again, not that noticeable here, but seth is wearing new colored contacts and his eyes are actually supposed to look like a purple and pink sky full of lanterns. he's still refusing to wear his glasses more, haha.
his nails are hot pink most of the time and they look more bright compared to the rest of his design.
Y E S he's wearing matching rings with rollo >:3 i am so insane about this concept, STOP ME BEFORE I START RAMBLING ABOUT IT. i actually think seth would wear a matching accessory depending on who he's dating at the moment/in this universe/timeline. and since i'm in a very strong seth x rollo mood as always, i went with this one. but i'm sure i'll get to draw the rest of them in the future!
and now. just take these silly doodles bc i had this redesign opened on my tablet when i pulled for rollo and. he didn't come home (he will. he will i am dragging him as he's screaming for his life) and i was like. at first i was like "did he not like it :(" but then i came to the conclusion that this repressed catholic school boy just. needed a moment to process it.
#i am actually so proud of seth like.. hell yeah this is my son!!! he's finally healing!!!#idk if design notes are that interesting i just. like to ramble about designs 😭#listen. rollo singing in front of the fireplace whenever ANYTHING happens is so funny to me. 10/10 the best concept ever#a mild inconvenience happened? sing in front of the fireplace. something terrible happened? sing in front of the fireplace.#your bf looks so good with his new hair color and new uniform and everything you have no idea what to do with yourself? sing in front of#THIS IS HIS MENTAL BREAKDOWN AND HE GETS TO CHOOSE THE SONG#also i have a hc that rollo's phonecase would be like. you know those cases that look like books. yeah that one#bc he's just. he's a grandpa. that man reads a newspaper every morning what is wrong with him /pos#*CRYING* I HAVE SO MANY NBC DRAWINGS IS IT OKAY IF I POST THEM HERE..#at this point i should just. create an art ask blog for them or something /j#okay. okay. now. i have to do my latin hw. i'll try#lina draws ocs#[ ✧ 𝐬𝐞𝐭𝐡 𝐝𝐞𝐥𝐚𝐧𝐞𝐲 ✧ ]

Hey everyone, long time no see huh? Suppose it's been quite the time since I last posted on Tumblr.
To be frank I really don't mean to disappear out of nowhere from Tumblr and then pop back in with a new digital drawing of a goofy character or some traditional doodles and disappear once again
Life has been hard if it helps for some to understand, it's probably useless to write to people who follow me on yet another excuse on why I vanished off the internet-
College started a couple of weeks ago and to be honest it has slapped me in the face- (it feels more like a year of college). College hasn't been quite the same as school was, you get a lot of homework but they are big and you gotta write a lot of essays and for my already sleep deprived ass it is hard-
Due to me being so drained from going to college I began to notice that my hobbies (art) hasn't been so easy to do in my free time because now I'm resting more than I am doing things I love.
I can occasionally make a small doodle or a digital artwork but it's not as frequent as before and I then forget to post it on tumblr-
My mental stability hasn't been well either and I can feel shitty if not for people who are there to be the light in the dark for me. My mood has been low and it's probably because I'm not eating as much or sleeping.
My body feels like it's breaking down as well- constant joint cracking, I'm tired all the time. I most likely have hypermobility, which my parents say I do have they just don't want to give a real doctor's diagnosis, and I have signs of it. That may be the problem for some of the shitty wellbeing I got and pains.
Yes I'm not dead, just not in a very good state at the moment. Sorry if some of you didn't want to hear my ass ramble about my problems-
I hope you all have a wonderful day today and you all take care of yourselves!
#vent?#vent? ish?#jay talks#i dont know#just talking#perhaps none of you all need taht info#thought some may want to know#i promise im not dead#small art#im back#??
